Disappointing experience
Unfortunately, my experience with Boonma was disappointing, mainly due to the significant delay and lack of proactive communication.
My shipment arrived in Thailand on 21 July, and I was initially advised it would be released by 24–27 July. However, despite repeated follow-ups, I only received a confirmed delivery date on 13 August, with delivery scheduled for the following day.
What makes this even more disappointing is that I had another shipment, almost 100 kg heavier, sent to the same destination around the same period. It arrived sooner, cleared customs about 10 days earlier, and cost almost THB 8,000 less—despite being subject to the same public holidays.
I also found it frustrating to be charged THB 5,684.38 in storage fees when the delay was not caused by me and I had been actively following up throughout.
The staff were polite and the situation was eventually resolved, but I expected much better communication, coordination and customer ownership from an international moving company.Read more
